Fried baby snapper with fried shredded ginger

Ingredients
Slit slightly the middle meaty part of the fish and coat the fresh snapper with:
  •  A teaspoon of Chinese five spice powder
  • Two teaspoons of corn flour or rice flour
  • Cracked pepper and sea salt
Method
1. Fry the fish with some heated vegetable oil in a wide pan.
2. Chop some ginger, chillies and garlic. Fry them separately in another small pan.
3. Once fish is browned thoroughly, top with the fragrant fried ingredients with some chopped coriander and spring onions.  You may enjoy the fish with some chopped chillies and soy sauce, complimented with some rice.

  2. Okay, I have now tried this one as well. Duncan caught a Snapper at Sunshine beach on my birthday, so I remembered you had this and tried it last night. I really enjoyed it. Thanks.
