Prawns and scallops tagliatelle
Happy New Year, all! Summer is well and truly here, how about serving up some fresh seafood, champagne and a hearty tagliatelle with prawns and scallops? Perfect for an intimate dinner or date night!

- Fresh tagliatelle or in a pscket
- 1/4 cup butter, room temperature
- Chopped chives
- Chopped dill
- Dry white wine
- Juice of half a lemon
- Fresh prawns and scallops (big handfuls of each)
- Minced garlic
- Chopped fresh birds’ eye chillies
- Olive oil
- Pepper to taste
- Boil the pasta in a pot with salted hot water. Leave aside to cook.
- Heat huge saucepan wth a few drizzles of olive oil. Add minced garlic and chopped chillies. Lightly stir for a couple of minutes.
- Add scallops and prawns. Stir well and deglaze with some dry white wine.
- Add cooked pasta (with kitchen tong) into saucepan. Shake the saucepan and stir.
- Add butter (mixed with chopped chives and dill). Toss well.
- Drizzle with lemon juice. Add cracked pepper and salt to taste.
