Easy chocolate cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup self raising flour or sift 1 cup plain flour with 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup milk
- 75g butter, melted
Method
- Grease a cake tin.
- Put all dry ingredients in a bowl & mix well.
- Add eggs, vanilla essence & milk. Mix well.
- Add melted butter and stir for a few minutes.
- Pour cake mix to cake tin, evenly. Bake in moderate oven (160 degrees in fan force) for about 45 minutes. Cake is ready when a skewer comes out clean.
