Easy chocolate cake

Ingredients
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup self raising flour or sift 1 cup plain flour with 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder 
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 75g butter, melted
Method
  1. Grease a cake tin.
  2. Put all dry ingredients in a bowl & mix well.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla essence & milk. Mix well.
  4. Add melted butter and stir for a few minutes.
  5. Pour cake mix to cake tin, evenly. Bake in moderate oven (160 degrees in fan force) for about 45 minutes. Cake is ready when a skewer comes out clean.
