Be an explorer, not a tourist! Prague (or Praha) was simply gorgeous! From discovering breath taking Praha Castle, to amazing Baroque interior of St Mikulas Church, impressive Art Nouveau buildings, the mighty Tyn Church with the most impressive Gothic structure at Starometske Namesti (Old Town Square), and getting lost in the twisted matrix of Stare Mesto backstreets was all part of discovering Praha's main city streets and their huge selection of beers :)

A hearty traditional breakfast serves a plate of ham, cheese, toasted bread, eggs and kurtos kalacs (known as chimney cake). It is a crunchy cinnamon scroll made from yeast-raised dough, sugar, caramel, toffee and almond. The sugar is caramelised on the surface, creating a sweet, crispy exterior, and a soft smooth interior. This scroll originated from Transylvania, and you can enjoy this delight here in Brisbane in markets like Jan Powers Farmers Markets, West End markets and Kelvin Grove Farmers markets. What a bonus!

Prague travels would be incomplete without getting acquainted with their local beers! This photo was taken at Lokal, a traditional and local eatery with beers served with different beer head. From the far left, with the least head is known as Hladinka, the middle is Snyt and Milko, with the most frothy foam. If you get off the tourist track, you will find some reasonably priced local grub, with generous servings :)
A trip to Prague beer museum is not to be missed!
The selections? As far as your eyes could see along the bar....
