Perfectly seared duck fillets, Gordon Ramsay style!

Duck breast fillets are lean and healthy. This method is unbelievably easy!
Ingredients
  • 2 duck breast fillets 
  • Salt and pepper
Method
  1. Pre heat the oven at 200 degrees c. Season the skin side of the fillets with salt and pepper. Place them, skin side down on a cold pan or skillet.
  2. Turn the heat gradually to sear the fillets. Season the top part of the fillets with salt and pepper. Once the fat comes out, turn over the meat. The skin should be nicely crispened.
  3. Sear slightly and turn the fillets on skin side down. Place the skillet in th oven for 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Once out from the oven, leave the meat to rest until cool. Touch slightly, the meat should be slightly bouncy. Slice thickly and serve crunchy roasted potatoes, veges and a nice red!
